Head of Marketing

About the role
As our Head of Marketing you will be working across all sector divisions (Pharma, Agri, Energy and Computation) developing a cohesive marketing and comms strategy to drive engagement with our key stakeholders; founders, investors and strategic partner organisations. You’ll play an instrumental role in our upcoming fundraise and new product design and development.
The scope of the day-to-day activities will be broad, ranging from building sales collateral and website redesign to growth hacking and building brand identity. You will inform our product marketing, build our go-to-market plans and PR engagement. Above all, you’ll figure out marketing functions that have the most leverage in rapidly growing the business. As the Head of Marketing, your role will be pivotal in leading DSV’s way to global recognition.
DSV has already done significant heavy-lifting behind the scenes to establish the bones of our branding, product marketing and communications strategy. We need somebody to bring it to life in the short-term, with a view on then developing scalable systems to achieve similar results in the portfolio companies we build.
The role is full time, starting asap, remotely (until further notice).
We’re after a really good generalist with opinionated views on best practices across:
● Content marketing
● Product marketing
● Brand development and positioning
● Creative (website design, graphic design, video production / editing, podcasting etc.)
● Marketing communications (defining company and executive narratives, working with media, through conferences, and other avenues to raise awareness and understanding)
● User acquisition/lead generation (SEO, campaigns, CRM management etc.)
● Systems and analytics
● GDPR compliance
● Event development and management
Background in early-stage tech, idealy with science focus but it’s not a must.
You must have experience in working with seed to series A stage startup(s) and growing the business from early to mid-market adoption.
You should really enjoy building new, better ways of doing things, including designing experiments and hypothesis-testing to arrive at an optimal solution.
You’ve also demonstrated interest in one or more of the sectors that DSV’s working in and can envision how the work that DSV’s doing can change the world for the better.
